Claudia Scott Releases "John Clare's Dream" After three critically acclaimed albums in the -90's, Claudia Scott summed up her solo career with the album Collection, released in 2005. Her 4th album "John Clare's Dream" is to be released on the 18th September, and the title track, a tribute to the English 19th century poet John Clare, is co-written with artist and poet Shaun Belcher. Claudia has chosen a more acoustic approach for this album, playing acoustic guitar, mandolin and harmonica. Her long time collaborator and producer Erik Honoré, and band mates Tom Rudi Torjussen, percussion and Jørn Raknes, guitar and steel-guitar give a refined accompaniment to Scott's soulful songs. Special guests on the album are Vidar Ersfjord on piano and Mari Persen on violin. The album was recorded more or less live and mixed during 5 days this Summer in Oslo and resulted in a playful, fresh and spontaneous album. True to her eclectic sound, Claudia delivers a repertoire that varies from slow ballads to mid-tempo songs with influences from jazz and rock. A true pleasure for long Autumn nights.
